Here in Modesto, once again we have members of our flock leaving. In one proud moment this time, not just leaving, but soaring with the standards of The Institute of Technology firmly grasped in their talons. We have a student going to Disney; not the land…the world. This student with little assistance pursued an externship in the Disney of Orlando, you know, the one across the country. I have never felt better about watching students grow beyond our expectations and their own. Never before has a student who started and worked hard followed the yellow brick road all the way to the end.

In the world of foodservice, when a chef trains someone to carry on their legacy it is a proud moment. This is perhaps one of my finest legacy’s to date here as a director. To all those who think they can’t complete and achieve; today we have believers and doers. What a great day to be a teacher. Come check us out and build your own legacy.
