Choosing a Culinary College
Institute of Technology’s culinary experience is different from the first day until the last. You won’t spend all of your time at our culinary school sitting behind a desk. We know the best way for you to succeed is with hands-on training, putting to use the unique concepts taught by our chef instructors. Along with the experience of learning in a restaurant-style environment, you’ll get real experience that is essential in preparing you for the workplace.
At Institute of Technology, you’ll learn on the same equipment used by professionals in the culinary and baking industries. Courses are taught in modern facilities that reflect the current food service environment.
Students in our professional culinary arts programs will learn to properly use griddles, charbroilers, ranges, ovens, salamanders, steamers and deep fryers. The Baking and Pastry Specialist students will learn to master their craft using ovens, convection ovens and proofing cabinets.
